  Elsewhere in our Jama‘at literature it is recorded that a delegation of prominent Muslims consisting of Ch. Sir Shahab-ud-Din (later Speaker of the Punjab Legislative Council), Dr Sir Muhammad Iqbal and Ch. Sir Zafrullah Khan went to meet the Governor of the Punjab about this case, and as a result the case was terminated.
