| Maulana Abdul Haq Vidyarthi arriving at airport in Suriname (Dutch Guiana as it was then), 5th October 1956 The date is taken from an article by the Maulana in Ruh-i Islam which appears to refer to the arrival below. The airport was known as Zandrey Field, and was located about thirty miles from Paramaribo. It was his second visit to Suriname.
On the back of the following photographs there is a handwritten caption indicating that the Maulana was being welcomed by the Jamaat (Ahmadiyya, Lahore) at Zandrey Field. No date is given, and could have been his first visit in 1954.
